- While the provision of online tuition presents children with many opportunities, it may also present risks and challenges.
- We have a responsibility to help keep children and young people safe.
- All children, regardless of age, disability, gender reassignment, race, religion or belief, sex or sexual orientation, have the right to equal protection from all types of physical or mental harm or abuse.
- All tutors should know what to do if a student tells them they are being abused, exploited, or neglected. Tutors should know how to manage the requirement to maintain an appropriate level of confidentiality. This means only involving those who need to be involved, such as the designated Safeguarding Lead and local authority children’s social care team.
We recruit rigorously
- Our tutor selection process ensures that we only employ tutors who meet strict educational standards and, crucially, who take a genuine interest in helping students to maximise their potential. It is also mandatory for every tutor to have an up-to-date DBS check and abide by our clear Code of Conduct.
